Birth or Death Registration-जन्म व मृत्यू नोंदणी प्रक्रियेत बदल! 🚀
📜 महाराष्ट्र शासनाने जन्म आणि मृत्यू नोंदणीसंबंधी नवीन सुधारित आदेश जारी केला आहे. 1969 च्या जन्म-मृत्यू नोंदणी अधिनियम आणि 2023 च्या सुधारित कायद्यानुसार, नागरिकांना नोंदणी प्रक्रियेत काही बदल लागू करण्यात आले आहेत.(Birth or Death Registration)
🔹 प्रमुख बदल काय आहेत?
✅ नोंदणी कालावधी:
- ज्या जन्म किंवा मृत्यूची नोंदणी 1 वर्षांपेक्षा उशिराने केली जाते, ती आता जिल्हा दंडाधिकारी / उपविभागीय दंडाधिकारी / कार्यकारी दंडाधिकारी यांच्या परवानगीने केली जाणार आहे.
- यासाठी योग्य पुरावे आणि शुल्क भरावे लागेल.
- ✅ परकीय नागरिकांची नोंदणी:
- परकीय नागरिकांनी महाराष्ट्रात जन्म नोंदणी करणे टाळण्यासाठी कडक तपासणी आणि सत्यापन प्रक्रिया लागू करण्यात आली आहे.
- ✅ अनुपलब्धता प्रमाणपत्र (Non-Availability Certificate – NAC):
- ज्या जन्म किंवा मृत्यूची नोंदणी उपलब्ध नाही, त्या बाबत प्रमाणपत्र मिळवण्यासाठी संबंधित नोंदणी अधिकारी / जिल्हा प्रशासनाला अधिकृत पुरावे द्यावे लागतील.
- यामध्ये रुग्णालयीन कागदपत्रे, सरकारी रेकॉर्ड्स, शाळेचे दाखले, इतर अधिकृत ओळखपत्रे ग्राह्य धरली जातील.
- ✅ अर्जाची पडताळणी आणि प्रक्रिया:
- स्थानिक प्रशासन आणि पोलीस तपासणीद्वारे अर्जदाराची ओळख आणि पुराव्यांची सत्यता पडताळली जाईल.
- बनावट किंवा खोटे पुरावे आढळल्यास कठोर कायदेशीर कारवाई केली जाईल.
⏳ अर्ज कसा करावा?
📝 नागरिकांना महसूल विभाग / जिल्हा प्रशासन / नगरपरिषद / ग्रामपंचायत कार्यालयामार्फत अर्ज सादर करता येईल.

📜 Maharashtra Government has issued new amendments regarding birth and death registration. As per the Birth & Death Registration Act, 1969, and the 2023 Amendments, several changes have been introduced to streamline the registration process.
🔹 Key Changes in the New Rules:
- ✅ Delayed Registration Process:
- If the birth or death registration is delayed beyond 1 year, it will now require approval from the District Magistrate / Sub-Divisional Magistrate / Executive Magistrate.
- Proper verification and prescribed fees will be applicable.
- ✅ Restrictions on Foreign Nationals:
- Strict verification procedures have been introduced to prevent foreign nationals from registering their birth fraudulently in Maharashtra.
- ✅ Non-Availability Certificate (NAC):
- If a birth or death record is unavailable, an official Non-Availability Certificate (NAC) can be obtained by submitting authentic proof to the local registration office.
- Hospital records, government documents, school certificates, and other official IDs will be accepted as valid proof.
- ✅ Verification & Application Process:
- Local administration and police verification will be conducted to confirm the applicant’s identity and the authenticity of the documents.
- Strict legal action will be taken against those submitting fake or fraudulent documents.

📝 Citizens can apply through their Revenue Department / District Administration / Municipal Corporation / Gram Panchayat Office.
